DHA-50 polyunsaturated fatty acids are essential fatty acids, which can not be synthesized by the body by what should be provided daily by the diet. The two families of polyunsaturated essential fatty acids are omega-3 and omega-6. 3 Most important omega fatty acids are the docosahexanoic acid (DHA) and Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA). Oily fish are par excellence, the main source of fatty acids omega 3. GSN DHA-50 contains a concentrated source of blue fish, mainly tuna oil. The concentration process used enabled to preserve the fatty acid in its natural state, i.e., in the form of triglyceride which presents a high absorption.
