The Beta Carotene nature of Lamberts ® is extracted naturally from the alga Dunaliella salina, a pink algae living on the surface of the salt lakes and contains small amounts of other mixed carotenoids. The growth of this organism is controlled in an aqueous medium of high salinity that prevents contamination by harmful microorganisms.
