Saw palmetto (Serenoa repens) is a Palm tree in North America. Prostex ® contains the concentrated extract of the berries of the Palm tree along with zinc and the nutrients vitamin C antioxidants, E and Quercetin.
In all studies carried out with saw palmetto has been used an extract concentrate (160 mg of extract twice a day), so Lamberts ® used preferably a summary instead of just powdered berries that contain lots of fiber and sugars. The 160 mg of extract per capsule of Prostex ® are equivalent to a 1920 mg of powdered Berry, which means that it is twelve times more potent than the material used by many other manufacturers.
In addition to the Prostex ® we recommend evening primrose oil 1000 mg daily to strengthen the range of nutrients that are added to the diet.
