Maritime pine trees are grown in periods between 30 and 50 years, without the use of pesticides or herbicides. Pine bark extract is a rich source in phenolic components including Proanthocyanidins Oligomeric, polyphenols (catechins, epicatequinas) monomeric and organic acids (cinnamic, Caprylic, ferulic, vanillico, parahidroxibenzoico).
Solgar Pycnogenol ® stands out due to its antioxidant power, 20 times greater than that of the vitamin C and 50 times that of vitamin e. protects collagen and elastin from external aggressions, stimulate the synthesis of collagen, they inhibit the activity of enzymes that degrade it and favor the formation of structures that increase its resistance.
