The use of artichoke herb was described for the first time in the 4th century BC This plant belongs to the family of the Asteraceace, which also includes milk thistle. Also known as globe artichoke, this plant produces large flowers of colors purple and green and is different from the artichoke of Jerusalem, an edible root vegetable.
Traditionally, the artichoke has been used to relieve discomfort that present some people after meals in the upper part of the abdomen or in the lower part of the chest. Modern investigations have led to professionals to extend its use to people with imbalances in their intestinal functions and people with poor digestion of fats.
The leaves of the artichoke are which contain active components, the most important being the cynarin. Ibisene ® is a high-power artichoke extract standardized to 5% cynarin, which provides a significant amount of 16 mg of cynarin per tablet.
How to use
2 tablets with a meal (maximum 6 tablets daily) for a minimum of 8 weeks. Later, as maintenance, 1 to 2 tablets daily.
Note: The artichoke extract can also be taken before a meal rich in fats (2 tablets) to facilitate digestion.
