Solgar Tonalin ® CLA. Conjugated linoleic acid. 60 soft capsules. CLA or conjugated linoleic acid is a fatty acid derived from linoleic acid (LA) of the Omega 6 series. He is obtained from vegetable oils, such as sunflower or safflower and animal sources, such as dairy products and meat from ruminants. Tonalin ® CLA from Solgar comes from natural safflower oil seeds. The activity of the CLA focuses on the stimulation of energy metabolism and, therefore, in the reduction of body fat. The CLA can help, within the framework of a hypocaloric diet, reduce body fat and build lean muscle mass (which in turn favors the reduction of body fat). Solgar Tonalin ® CLA is protected by four patents and is clinically studied through human trials, while many CLA market do not have clinical trials in humans. The contribution of CLA per capsule is 1014 mg, dose that has demonstrated efficacy in clinical studies and is in the form of two different isomers: cis 9, trans 11 and trans 10, cis 12, essential for the balance and action of the CLA. It contains also the rest of fatty acids present in safflower oil, beneficial for the body.
